Laser Resurfacing, Dermabrassion & Injections for Facial Wrinkles

Laser resurfacing can be used to diminish lower eyelid wrinkles, wrinkles that develop around the lips, and other facial wrinkles.

Dermabrasion removes the outer layer of skin with a rotating "brush".  It is useful in smoothing the lines above the upper lip.

Another alternative to treat facial wrinkles is Collagen, Cosmoplast or Restylane.  Collagen comes from cows and patients must be tested to be sure they are not allergic to it. Cosmoplast comes from human skin and allergy is not a problem. Collagen and Cosmoplast are believed to last 2-3 months whereas Restylane might last 6 months.
